AhamStree ("we", "us", "our") operates the website www.ahamstree.com ("the site"), through which we sell handwoven Chanderi sarees and related products. By browsing the site or placing an order, you ("you", "the customer") agree to these Terms of Use.
All prices on the site are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and, unless stated otherwise, are inclusive of applicable GST. Our GSTIN is 06AYMPG2685D1ZF. Because our sarees are handwoven in small batches, colours, weave texture, and exact motif placement may vary slightly from the product photos — this is a natural feature of handloom fabric, not a defect. We reserve the right to correct genuine pricing or listing errors, limit order quantities, or discontinue a product at any time, including after an order is placed, in which case we will refund any amount already paid for that item.
Orders are placed and paid for online through Razorpay, our third-party payment processor. We do not accept Cash on Delivery. We do not see or store your full card, UPI, or netbanking credentials — those are handled directly by Razorpay under its own security and compliance standards. An order is confirmed only once payment is successfully received; if a payment fails or is not completed, no order is created and any stock held for it is released.
Orders are shipped via our courier partners (arranged through Shiprocket) to addresses across India. Estimated delivery timelines are shown at checkout and on our Shipping Policy page; these are estimates, not guarantees, and can be affected by courier delays, festive-season demand, weather, or other circumstances outside our control.
Our full returns and cancellations terms are set out on our Returns & Cancellations page and form part of these Terms. In short: because every saree is made to order in small batches, we accept returns only for a genuine manufacturing defect, reported within the window stated on that page, and we do not accept returns for sizing, change of mind, or personal preference.
If you create an account (by email/password or by signing in with Google), you're responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Please contact us immediately if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.
You agree not to use the site for any unlawful purpose, to attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the site or its systems, or to interfere with the site's normal operation (including automated scraping that places load on our servers or attempts to bypass security controls).
All product photography, text, logos, and design on this site belong to AhamStree unless otherwise credited, and may not be reproduced or reused commercially without our written permission.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, AhamStree's liability arising from any order is limited to the amount actually paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these Terms limits any right you have under Indian consumer protection law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts having authority over our place of business.
We may update these Terms from time to time; the "Last updated" date above will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
